This calls for a toast! We’re giving a very special shout out to 40+ Pennsylvania distilleries that have shifted production during the COVID-19 pandemic to help serve their communities. These small businesses produce some of the state’s finest hand-crafted spirits sanitizers so that Pennsylvanians can keep their families and friends healthy!

Whether you’re traveling into Pennsylvania or planning a staycation closer to home this upcoming season, show your support by stopping by one or a few of these locations for a whiskey, rum, vodka, or gin and purchase a bottle of your favorite spirit.

1. Stateside Vodka

Philadelphia

Stateside Vodka Bar is a full-service cocktail lounge connected directly to the on-site distillery. Guests enjoy panoramic views of the production floor while sampling more than a dozen freshly infused spirits and custom cocktails. Feeling adventurous? 2. Red Brick Distilling

Philadelphia

Craftsmanship and homegrown flavor are two focus points of the Red Brick Craft Distillery. Each small-batch spirit is handcrafted from the best local ingredients and produced on-site from brewing to bottling.

3. New Liberty Distillery

Philadelphia

The working distillery and beautiful bar and tasting room are located inside a former horse stable with much of its original architecture, including the horse stalls, preserved.

Whiskey and American history go hand in hand and much of the story happened here in Pennsylvania! 1675 Spirits prides itself on preserving our rich history and sourcing all grains from the nearby Castle Valley Mill in Bucks County. Customized batches and hand-stamped metal labels are available for customers!

5. Boardroom Spirits

Lansdale

Stop by on Sundays for Brunch at the Boardroom! Boardroom Spirits expands their traditional bar experience by partnering with Fry's Catering to offer delicious food items such as chicken and waffles and stuffed French toast, all paired perfectly with handcrafted cocktails. 6. Five Saints Distilling

Norristown

Five Saints Distilling serves premium, small-batch, handcrafted spirits with an extra twist of history! The distillery, tasting room, and bar are located inside the historic Humane Engine #1 Fire House, built more than 125 years ago! The award-winning selection ranges from Maple Bourbon Butter Pecan Flavored Rum to Blood Orange Liqueur.

7. Bluebird Distilling

Phoenixville

We’ve all experienced the day after a storm breaks and the sun shines through, and that’s what Bluebird Distilling is all about! Founder Jared Adkins has created a line of award-winning spirits designed for getting out there and seizing that perfect day. 8. Tattered Flag Brewery and Still Works

Middletown

What started as a dream in the mountains of Afghanistan has now become a brand recognized throughout the region for quality and innovation. The veteran-owned and operated business, Tattered Flag Brewery and Still Works, specializes in handcrafted, house-made, award-winning beer and spirits. Visit one (or all three) locations in Middletown, Hershey, and Gettysburg.

9. Midstate Distillery

Harrisburg

Midstate Distillery, Harrisburg’s first stillhouse, is known for its commitment to sourcing the freshest and local ingredients. On the weekends, stop in for a free tasting and stick around for a handcrafted cocktail or martini on their new outdoor patio.

10. Dead Lightning Distillery

New Cumberland

Dead Lightning Distillery was started by friends and family of Skyler Montgomery to preserve his memory and his love for The Grateful Dead and the moonshine known as white lightning. Now located in the old Coakley's Cigar Bar in New Cumberland, the distillery is ready to serve cinnamon whiskey, gin, vodka, and rum. Raise a glass to Skyler!

11. Brandywine Branch Distillery

Elverson

Taste handmade gin thoughtfully crafted by the distillers at Brandywine Branch Distillery. From hand-selected botanicals to the final distillation in copper stills, there’s a flavor for every season and every region.

12. Lake House Distilling

Waynesboro

As one of the first distilleries in Franklin County since Prohibition, Lake House Distilling produces authentic, handcrafted spirits in copper pots for a traditional and old-fashioned taste. Make a trip to this small family-owned and operated distillery in southcentral Pennsylvania to help keep your spirits up.

13. Mason Dixon Distillery

Gettysburg

Located within a century-old, former furniture factory, the spirits from Mason Dixon Distillery are distilled and hand bottled for a true grain-to-glass process. The liquor is all made on site from scratch using local ingredients. Good conversations and good spirits are what this distillery is about!

14. Zoetropolis Cinema Stillhouse

15. Eight Oaks Farm Distillery

New Tripoli

Eight Oaks Farm Distillery has roots that run deep. The distillers grow their grains on their own and neighboring farms for a unique farm-to-bottle experience. Check their website for reservations for their tasting room and curbside pickup service.

16. Tall Pines Distillery

Salisbury

Tall Pines Distillery knows the art of handcrafted products pairs best with traditional recipes and grain-to-glass experiences. Check out their signature flavors, Rebellion, Banana Foster, and Huckleberry, all made with natural ingredients.

17. Old Towne Distillery

Stoystown

The high-quality liquors from Old Towne Distillery are made in the basement of a building that once housed an old secret society, an Odd Fellows Lodge – an element that provides authenticity to the spirits produced here! Make your way to this small-town distillery to experience a homey atmosphere and smooth liquor.

18. Faber Liquors

Trumbauersville

Housed in a former metalsmith shop, Faber Liquors is very specific about how they produce their spirits - distilled five times, filtered over 40 feet of activated charcoal, and zero additives. Crafted using only natural ingredients, the distillery is deeply rooted in craft, community, and taste.

19. Hewn Spirits

Pipersville

Handcrafted in the heart of Bucks County, Hewn Spirits celebrates a love of locally grown grains, the art of handcrafted distilling, and the “spirit” of old, unique, and rare reclaimed woods. Their spirits range from rum to moonshine, each featuring an uncommon depth, smoothness, and complexity in every bottle.

20. County Seat Spirits

Allentown

Founded in 2014, County Seat Spirits was Lehigh Valley's first state licensed and federally permitted distillery since prohibition. After spending several months scouting locations throughout the Commonwealth, the rich history of the city of Allentown drew them in. In February 2015, a tasting room was added for spirit lovers to enjoy their freshly distilled bourbon, gin, rum, and vodka offerings.

21. Xplorer Spirits

Allentown

Allow your sense of adventure and curiosity to lead you to Xplorer Spirits! Sample award-winning, small-batch vodka, gin, and moonshine. The brand is an ode to the owners Kishor and Niky’s African heritage. A percentage of all profits are used to provide clean drinking water to communities in need through the Tanzania Water Project and local Meals on Wheels Pennsylvania community.

22. WARDOG Spirits

Bethlehem

In 2019, WARDOG Spirits became the latest establishment to join the Lehigh Valley’s growing distillery scene. Produced on the grounds of Black River Farm Winery in Bethlehem, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy WARDOG’s bourbon, vodka, and rum offerings in a relaxed, rustic tasting area.

23. Triple Nickel Distillery

Weedville

Founded in 2018, Triple Nickel Distillery takes pride in producing quality products and giving their customers a positive experience. Their spirits vary in flavor from pickled to apple pie and are blended in house using 100% natural juices for a completely unique tasting experience.

24. Blackbird Distillery

Brookville

Located in Brookville, Blackbird Distillery is Pennsylvania’s first and only moonshine distillery. Their award-winning products are made by hand from start to finish and use locally-grown corn to elevate their recipes. Open 364 days a year (closed on Christmas), there’s never a bad time to pay them a visit!

25. Nomad Distillery Co.

Williamsport

Formerly known as Mountain Top Distillery, Nomad Distilling Co. is a family-owned and operated business just outside Williamsport. Founded in 2013, they produce a selection of bourbons and whiskies, as well as a variety of fruit-flavored shines, perfect for summertime sipping.

26. Cart/Horse Distilling

Edinboro

Inspired by stories of their great grandfather’s moonshine, the founders of Cart/Horse Distilling launched their distilling journey in 2013. In 2017, they became Erie County’s first legal distillery since prohibition, creating a variety of tasty spirits such as artisan root beer and strawberry watermelon shine.

27. CJ Spirits, Kane

Kane

At CJ Spirits, handmade vodka, gin, rum, and whiskey are produced from local grains and pure Allegheny Mountain spring water. Located along historic Route 6 in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest, it’s the perfect road trip for anyone who enjoys PA history, the great outdoors, and perfectly smooth sips.

28. Ridge Runner Distillery

Chalk Hill

With rustic roots that date back to the location of the Whiskey Rebellion in the Laurel Highlands, Ridge Runner Distillery produces grape-based liquors, such as grappa and brandy. 29. Maggie’s Farm Rum

Allegheny Distilling is an urban distillery located in the historic Strip District of Pittsburgh and maker of Maggie’s Farm Rum, the first commercially-available Pennsylvania-made craft rum since Prohibition. 33. Silverback Distillery

East Stroudsburg

The only operating mother-daughter distilling duo in the nation brings their expertise in spirits and passion for craftswomanship to life through Silverback Distillery. CEO and Master Distiller, Christine Riggleman, had a calling to make whiskey after a visit to a Scottish distillery. Coming from a line of hard-working and hooch-drinking women, Christine and her daughter blend distinct and flavorful spirits using a unique mix of local grains.

Insurrection Distillery offers grain to glass distillates, craft brews, wine, and a good time. 36. Bella Bambini Cellos

Coraopolis

37. Chicken Hill Distillery

Kersey

Tucked in the hills of northwestern Pennsylvania, Chicken Hill Distillery was founded in 2017 as Elk County’s first distillery. 40. Hazard’s Distillery

Mifflintown

Hazard’s Distillery serves a line of unique whiskey and moonshine flavors that include sweet tea, root beer, butterscotch, salted caramel, to name but a few! While in-person visits are on hold, show your support and thanks by stopping by the Mifflintown location for carry out and curbside options.

41. Barrell 21 Distillery

State College

Right by Penn State’s campus, guests who visit Barrell 21 Distillery are in for a treat! In addition to offering a range of sprits including rum, vodka, gin, and whiskey, the distillery also has an on-site brewery, restaurant, soda shop, and gift shop, making a trip to Barrell 21 always an adventure.

42. Lang Beverage Co.

Nanticoke

Although one of the commonwealth’s smallest distilleries, Lang Beverage Co. is big in flavor and spirit offerings! Liquors include the 2019 American Wine Society’s “Best Distilled Spirit” Lang’s Gin, vodka, barrel aged rum, coffee vanilla vodka, and a rotating selection of flavored spirits.
