Wildwood Park is an urban wetlands park and nature center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania managed by Dauphin County Parks and Recreation. Wildwood Park and the Olewine Nature Center offer a place to relax, explore, exercise and learn. The 200 acre park is known for the 90 acre shallow lake, 6 miles of trails, 1.5 miles of boardwalks and a convenient stop for exercise enthusiasts and nature goers. The park is open year round and offers outdoor recreation and education opportunities including hiking/walking/running trails, biking, excellent birding, picnicking, photography opportunities, fishing, and more. The Olewine Nature Center houses an Exhibit Hall free and open to the public with great opportunities for children. Visitors may be interested in park rentals or visiting the nature-themed gift shop.
