Pennsylvania Bald Eagles: A Celebration of Restoration Program

August 26, 2017
Sizerville State Park
199 East Cowley Run Road, Emporium, PA 15834 GET DIRECTIONS
Local: 814-486-5605

8-9 p.m.

Before restoration began, Pennsylvania had almost lost one of the most iconic birds found in North America, the Bald Eagle. Just 30 years ago, we only had three nests left in our entire state. Today, Pennsylvania is home to more than 250 nests. Come to the Campground Amphitheater to learn all about bald eagles and enjoy a short documentary on the restoration efforts that led to this bird's status today.
