Sue Reno is an award winning fiber artist who lives and works in Lancaster County, PA. Her rich and intricate art quilts featuring landscape images, botanical subjects and local wildlife are inspired by her surroundings. She also works with architectural subjects and recently completed a series of ten quilts documenting the transformation of the beaux-arts style Watt & Shand department store into a hotel and convention center.
Sue's work has been selected for the U.S. State Department Art in Embassies program in Vientiane, Laos. Sue has exhibited in solo shows as well as numerous art, fine craft, and quilt venues throughout the country.
Please note that Sue's studio is open by appointment. Visitors can either work directly with the artist to arrange a visit or through our PA Arts Experience trail concierge, Carol Foley Bolt who is available every day 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at 717-917-1630 to help with arranging visits and setting up the trip, including lodging and other attractions.
