Nestled in the Laurel Highlands, between Laurel Ridge and Mt. Davis, Confluence is at junction of the Casselman and Youghiogheny Rivers, and Laurel Hill Creek.  Close-by is a multitude of outdoor recreational activities, including biking on the Great Allegheny Passage, hiking in Ohiopyle St. Park, fishing Laurel Hill Cr. and boating on Yough Lake.  Fallingwater, Nemacolin, Fort Necessity and other cultural sites are also close.  Winter opens more opportunities with Seven Springs, Hidden Valley, and Wisp in Maryland a short drive away. Cross-country skiing is popular at Laurel Ridge State Park.  The town has a host of lodging facilities from camping to guest houses, a country inn, and several B&B's.  In town restaurants are, or you can take a short drive to more along historic Rt 40 just south of Confluence.  Whatever your outdoor recreational likes are, you're sure to find them nearby Confluence, PA
