Hershey

Everybody knows Hershey, the home of Hershey chocolate, HERSHEYPARK®, and the luxurious HOTEL HERSHEY®. The town claims to be the Sweetest Place on Earth; the very air smells like chocolate, and even the streetlights look like Kisses. Milton Hershey founded this unusually upscale company town for his workers and went on to build a vast fortune, most of which he poured into varied and generous philanthropic pursuits. Visitors can tour the Hershey Museum to learn more about the history of this area, or they can take a ride through HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE WORLD® to see how chocolate is made. Antique shops and B&Bs dot the region.

Friends, food, and rollercoasters

Every year my friends who I graduated High School with and I get together for a roadtrip to Hershey Park. I’m definitely a rollercoaster fan and I love rides like the Great Bear and The Comet. My one friend made the mistake of having ribs for lunch then trying the Sidewinder. I don’t think he’ll do anything like that again in the near future, but it made for a funny story later! After all that it was finally time to finish the day on the Coal Cracker, a water flume ride that I used to love as a little kid and still love as someone going on 30 today! So much fun... Good friends, pretty scenery and great rides!!!
