Established in 1857, the Moravian Historical Society is the third oldest historical society in the state of Pennsylvania. Our mission is to present the story of the Moravian Church and its contributions to American history and culture.
The Moravian Historical Society is located in the historic 1740 Whitefield House in beautiful downtown Nazareth, Pennsylvania. Our bookstore and giftshop and permanent and changing exhibitions are open seven days a week from 1 – 4pm. Museum admittance is $5. We are closed Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
The Moravian Historical Society offers a variety of events for all ages and interest levels. Members and non members are invited to join us for exhibition openings, youth and adult programs, benefit events and fundraisers.
