Volant Mills, in western PA Amish country, has been the center of economic activity in this picturesque village since its establishment in 1812. It showcases locally hand-crafted furniture and gifts. Purchased in September 2006 by the community non-profit Volant CDC, renovations have begun to restore the water-powered turbines and old machinery to add grain grinding demonstrations to its offerings. The VCDC invites you to visit this historic building and watch their progress.
