West Branch Susquehanna River Water Trail (Clearfield County)

The West Branch Susquehanna River Trail flows from Cherry Tree to Sunbury, a 188 mile water trail. Water trails are boat routes suitable for canoes, kayaks and, in some cases, small-motorized watercraft. The water trails is a recreational corridor between specific locations and comprised of access points, boat launches, day-use sites and, on some routes, overnight camping areas. The water trail is a unique reflection of Pennsylvania's diverse geology, history, ecology and communities. Frenchville Station Canoe Access is off PA Route 879 and Deer Creek Road between Frenchville and LeContes Mills. 24/7 hours of operation, shore fishing, unpowered boats only. Primary boating: canoes and other hand-carried boats.
