The winter season is a magical time to visit Pennsylvania’s state parks and zoos. Grab those jackets, throw on a scarf, and wrap your mitts around some hot cocoa as you stroll through the brilliant holiday displays put on by PA’s amusement parks.
Tap your toes to a Night of Extraordinary Lights at Hershey’s Christmas Candylane, enjoy the enchanting displays and ice-skating performances at Longwood Gardens, or find unique holiday entertainment among thousands of twinkling lights at Dutch Winter Wonderland.
You can even make a mid-winter escape to the rainforest by visiting Pittsburgh’s National Aviary, or get up close and personal with some of nature’s scaly creatures at Reptiland in Allenwood.
The Keystone State offers all sorts of surprises. How about a water park visit in December? We’ve got that. Check out Snowland at Great Wolf Lodge and splash around their indoor water park. We’ve only just scratched the surface of the ice, so get out and explore all season long!

The crayola factorie was amazing! My kids wanted to never leave. They asked to go everyday. At the factory there were so many things for the little kids to do! To be truthful it was also fun for the adults! If you go you will know what I was talking about.

Hershey Fun Filled

Me&my family were thinking about a place to go for the weekend. We decided to go to Hershey Park. In the afternoon, we drove to Hershey and stayed at Courtyard Marriott. That hotel is beautiful. Very nice staff. Anyway, we went to Hershey Park and loved it!!! The rides were like
one-of-a-kind!!! Especially the Pirate Ride. It was a ride that went up and down.
There are probably 5,000 rides at the park. I cannot wait to go back again!!!!

In July 2007 our family visited Hershey and Gettysburg and both places were simply breathtaking. My kids loved Hershey even more than Disney and as far as Gettysburg it was very surreal and the guided tour was very informative and interesting. Every year we try to do a driving vacation throgh the U.S as we are from Toronto Ont. and our drive always includes a scenic drive through Pa just because of the beautiful scenery and the friendly people.

The smell of carnival food the sounds of children laughing on the wild rides is enough to draw people to Pennsylvania.
Amusements in Dutch Country

The first rollercoaster I ever rode was the Comet at Hersheypark, and it was AWESOME.
My family took me to Dutch Wonderland when I was little; one of my earliest memories is of the swan boats. If you have kids, you should definitely go. And stay at the Caboose Motel!
