Meadville Market House

Start your trek along 79 North with a visit to the Meadville Market House. You'll be simply amazed at what you find yes, it's a city market, but it's also a meeting place and melting pot. Shop for baked goods, candies, or homemade pasta, and enjoy the people-watching. Have lunch, too, because we're sending you to Conneaut Cellars Winery next. Prepare to spend a pleasant afternoon sampling the award-winning wines you'll find here be sure to taste some of their unique regional varieties.

Wooden Nickel Buffalo Farm

You're gonna love this your first stop today is the Wooden Nickel Buffalo Farm. Yep, a buffalo farm right here in the State of Independence. Watch the majestic bison (and a reindeer) as they roam around their 200 acres of pasture; you can even call ahead to arrange a personal tour of the grounds, complete with educational info on these animals and their history. Shop for Native American crafts and Southwestern jewelry, and try some buffalo specialties at the grill. After that, it's a nice drive down to Wilhelm Winery for a taste of Lake Erie's wine country.

Volant Mill Winery
