Allentown Markets

You can see your first stop from the car it's the Allentown Turnpike Plaza Farmers Market! Open weekends from April through November, this market offers seasonal produce, gifts, and crafts. Shop, eat, then get back in the car and head for the Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market, which hosts more than 60 merchants selling meats, poultry, produce, deli items, baked goods, gourmet goodies, seafood, candy and snacks, and flowers, all at great prices. If you can't find it here, you're just not looking. Finally, head down to Way-Har Farms and enjoy a fabulously fresh ice cream treat for dessert all the dairy products sold here come right from Way-Har's very own cows. But it's more than that. This farm market features a deli, handmade chocolates, candies, snacks, and a gift department, so stock up!

Vynecrest & Clover Hill Wineries

Today is all about wine! Start off at Vynecrest Vineyards & Winery. Established in 1974, this winery specializes in fine European vinifera and hybrid grapes, but they also produce wines from newer varieties. Taste and compare in the winery's turn-of-the century bank barn, which provides a spectacular view of the vineyard. Next up, it's Clover Hill Vineyards and Winery, one of the largest producers of premium Pennsylvanian wines. The experienced staff of experts will answer your questions and help you make the right choices. You can shop here, too, for gift items, wine racks, and wine accessories.
