    Featuring 70,000 acres of forested hiking trails and 40 miles of the Delaware River.
  • Lehigh Gorge State Park
    Spectacular scenery and roaring rapids await you in the Lehigh Gorge. Remember to bring your camera for this trail. You'll click the shutter more than a few times as you follow the Lehigh River along its rocky escarpments. If you would like to experience the river in a more personal way, there are also many opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, rafting, and fishing.

    The Pocono Environmental Education Center is an ideal setting for family vacations and special events. It is a wonderful place for anyone interested in learning about the natural world in a beautiful, informal setting. Bookstore is open Wednesday to Friday 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Coming in April of 2006 - PEEC's sustainable-green Education/Dining Facility. The new 7,300 square foot building will be open for full use and rental in the Spring.
  • Monroe County Environmental Education Center
    The Center's focus is the natural environment of the Pocono Mountains.
  • Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center
    Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center offers environmental education programs from the Touch and Grow pre-school environmental awareness program to environmental problem solving programs. Contact the center office for information on upcoming educational programs.

    Once the site where the famous Henry Rifle was made, the Jacobsburg National Historic District lies almost entirely within the park. Henry's Woods offers very scenic hikes and the rest of the center grounds have muti-use trails.
