Great Weekend in MilfordNewly submitted Traveler Story!
Category: History & Heritage
Location: Milford
Great weekend in Milford. Saw Hudson River paintings at the Hotel Fauchere and stayed o/night. Incredible:Great food, huge photo of John Lennon & Andy Warhol in the bar. Saw Grey Towers, a 19th c. Normanesque chateau at the edge of town that was Gifford Pinchot's home. Also checked out the blood-stained Lincoln Flag at the Columns Museum, which was moving. The town is extremely charming, well-landscaped, most of it is an historic district.Galleries, antiques, shops.A return trip is in order.

It's Snow SurpriseNewly submitted Traveler Story!
Category: No Categories
Location: Coatesville
I recently left snowy Central New York to escape the high snowbanks and visit my daughter and her family in Coatesville PA. Upon my arrival, I was planning to sit on my daughter's deck and enjoy the scenic Brandywine Valley. Apparently a snowstorm that recently visited Washington DC also came to the Philadelphia area.

A rainy day at the Barnes
Category: Arts & Entertainment
Location: Barnes Foundation
A rainy summer day in the Barnes Foundation gardens. The photographer was inspired by the art inside the Foundation to create this scene. If you love early 20th century art, especially impressionist painting, you must visit the Barnes Foundation in Merion, PA. It is a wonderful experience, inside and out.
