Year 2 (2007)
Category: Outdoor Recreation
Location: Bike Route Y
Having done my solo Philly to Pittsburgh ride in 2006 I found it not so safe to go alone and had inspired my other fellow Philly cyclists to join me. We navigated the top of the state following most of Route Y with Paul driving a camper and leading the way for us. We started outside of Scranton, went toward Erie, then rode south a little on Route A into Ellwood City.

Year 1 (2006)
Category: No Categories
Location: Bike Route Y
I had decided that it was time for me to do something in my life and in 2006 I took my bike from where I live in Philadelphia and rode it to Pittsburgh to spend Independence Day with my family. Four days and 350 miles later I made it. I went solo that time and though I loved doing it, I learned that doing it alone was not a good idea. The weather was perfect and I followed most of Route S. It was really beautiful and the roads were in great shape.

Year 3 (2008)
Category: No Categories
Location: Bike Route L, J, and Y
Year three got bigger and better. We had a new person join in, and we decided to do more routes. This year we went north on J, east on Y, and south on L to create 5 good days of riding. It was a hot summer and we had to start early every morning to beat the heat. No injuries though. Everyone is excited for this year's route and more cycling fun.
