National Plan for Vacation Day
Featured Trip Ideas

January 31st is National Plan for a Vacation Day which encourages Americans to declare their vacation days for the rest of the year, at the start of the year.

In our culture packed schedules, hyper-connectivity, and work martyrdom, American workers are in serious need of a break. It’s time to start thinking about how we want to spend our days and where. Vacations are not a luxury, they are a necessity for a well-balanced, healthy life – as important as eating well and getting exercise.

On average, Americans leave 658 million days unused each year and the single-most important step workers can take is to plan their time off in advance.
