Cameron County is a wild and wonderful outdoor paradise that offers visitors a chance to unplug and relax surrounded by nature. Lush forests provide habitat for elk, deer, black bear, wild turkey, and other wildlife. Clear, cold waters offer anglers some of the best trout fishing in the state. Visitors can learn about the animals that inhabit this spectacular mountainous region and take eagle/osprey spotting pontoon boat tours at the Wildlife Center at Sinnemahoning State Park. Twists and turns, waterfalls, and beautiful scenery make Wykoff Run Road, in the Quehanna Wild Area, one of the top-rated motorcycle rides in the Pennsylvania. Emporium has many public murals throughout the town, a local artisan gallery at the Chamber of Commerce, and hosts a Bigfoot hunt each July as part of the Weekend in the Wilds celebration. The Little Museum is one of Pennsylvania's top seasonal museums. The county is also home to the Elk State Forest as well as Bucktail and Sizerville State Parks.
