Kinzua Skywalk - Tracks Across the Sky
296 Viaduct Road, Mount Jewett, PA 16740 GET DIRECTIONS
Local: 814-778-5467

This Kinzua Viaduct, once known as the longest and tallest railroad structure at 2,054 feet long and 301 feet high, was partially destroyed by a tornado in 2003. In 2011, the engineering masterpiece was reinvented as a Sky Walk where visitors can stroll 624 feet out on the remaining support towers, gaze miles out into the Kinzua Gorge as well as peer down through the partial glass platform at the end of the walkway. Picnicking and trail opportunities are available. Make sure to visit the newly opened Kinzua Visitor Center with wonderful interpretive displays spanning over two floors - emphasizing the three Es: Engineering, Environment, and Energy. Stop at the gift shop for treasures made in the Pennsylvania Wilds. The facility and Sky Walk are handicapped accessible. The park and Sky Walk are open year round from 8 am to sunset. Admission is free. The Kinzua Bridge Scenic Byway is a designated shared use hike/bike corridor.
