Immerse yourself in the past by learning the basics of those essential historic kitchen staples: bread and butter. In this unique three-hour experience, participants receive personalized instruction in baking and butter-churning under the guidance of our knowledgeable domestic life historians. We’ll prepare a simple bread recipe from scratch, bake it over the open hearth, and churn our own fresh butter by hand in our 1814 Summer Kitchen.

The event brings together individuals affected by any type of cancer, caregivers, community organizations, and supporters for a day of inspiration, support, and camaraderie. We kick off the festivities with the energetic 2K Rock YOUR Ribbon Parade where survivors, supporters, and caregivers can march proudly and rock their ribbons in support of all cancers. Wellness Hubs will provide free cancer health screenings by local healthcare professionals. Live music and performances from talented local artists.
